ARAMARK Healthcare actively sponsors professional conferences, hosts educational forums, and invests in proprietary research to benefit hospital executives and clinical professionals. For years, we have the privilege of partnering with the following highly regarded healthcare associations, societies, and market research groups:

American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) - The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international professional society of more than 30,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. ACHE is known for its prestigious credentialing and educational programs and its annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership, which draws more than 4,000 participants each year. As a proud corporate partner of the American College of Healthcare Executives, ARAMARK Healthcare has more than 70 staff members serving as American College of Healthcare Executive affiliates, including four leaders who have achieved fellow status with the organization.

American Dietetic Association (ADA) - The American Dietetic Association is the world's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. ADA is committed to improving the nation’s health and advancing the profession of dietetics through research, education and advocacy. In 2007, ARAMARK – one of the largest employers of dietitians in the country – became the only company in its category to form a corporate partnership with the American Dietetic Association (ADA), the nation's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. The ADA partnership continues to help us explore new ways to help consumers make healthy dining decisions away from home.

American Hospital Association (AHA) - The American Hospital Association (AHA) is the national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. Our Associate Membership with the American Hospital Association enables everyone in the ARAMARK Healthcare organization to better connect with AHA’s close to 5,000 hospitals, health care systems, networks, other providers of care and 37,000 individual members come together to form the AHA.

American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) - Founded in 1967, the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), a subsidiary of the American Hospital Association, is a national organization of over 6,000 nurse leaders who design, facilitate, and manage care. In 2006, AONE and ARAMARK Healthcare embarked on a multi-phase, research initiative that involved an elaborate survey of more than 4,000 nurses to identify opportunities to improve nurse/support service relationships and incrementally measure nursing satisfaction with support services.

AONE and ARAMARK Healthcare also host an annual Chief Nursing Officer conference that is dedicated to improving the hospital work environment by specifically focusing on the creation of more collaborative working relationships between nursing and clinical support services.

American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) - ASHE is one of the personal membership groups of the American Hospital Association (AHA). ASHE represents a diverse network of more than 9,200 members dedicated to optimizing the healthcare physical environment.

American Society for Healthcare Environmental Services (ASHES) - ASHES is the premier professional membership society for healthcare environmental services, housekeeping, waste management, textile care professionals and related support services disciplines. ASHES provides education, recognition for personal and professional achievements, national networking as well as affiliation and collaboration with the American Hospital Association on public policy and advocacy issues related to healthcare environmental services.

Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) - HFMA is the nation's leading membership organization for healthcare financial management executives and leaders. More than 35,000 members, ranging from CFOs to controllers to accountants consider HFMA a respected thought leader on top trends and issues facing the healthcare industry. HFMA members can be found in all areas of the healthcare system including hospitals, managed care organizations, physician practices, accounting firms and insurance companies.

Healthcare Roundtable - The Healthcare Roundtable brings together a group of very high caliber, experienced healthcare executives who are geographically dispersed at non-competing, not-for-profit hospitals & health systems throughout the country. These individuals are eager to share experiences, projects, management challenges, and visions of future trends and issues in order to instruct, improve, enlighten, and uplift one another. Roundtable Members form prime networking relationships that bring maximum value to their organizations throughout the year.

Institute for Diversity in Healthcare Management - The Institute for Diversity in Health Management, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, works closely with health services organizations and educators to expand leadership opportunities for ethnic minorities in health services management. ARAMARK Healthcare collaborates with this organization to help expand healthcare leadership opportunities for ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse individuals, and increase the number of these individuals entering and advancing in the field.

National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL) - The National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL) is a not-for-profit organization that works to assure that high quality, relevant and accountable leadership is available to meet the challenges of delivering quality patient healthcare in the 21st century. NCHL’s goal is to improve health system performance and the health status of the entire country through effective healthcare management leadership. ARAMARK Healthcare Group President, John Babiarz, serves as an active board member of this organization.

Studer Group – The Studer Group is a healthcare consulting company that helps organizations achieve superior operational performance by implementing tools and techniques created by Studer Group. The Studer Group has created a national learning lab through its work with over 450 healthcare facilities across the U.S. The company impacts patients, nurses, physicians and healthcare workers at all levels through its coaching, speaking, national seminars and resources (including software solutions).

ARAMARK Healthcare and the Studer Group, in concert with the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) Institute for Patient Care Research & Education partnered on a joint research project to create a standard tool for evaluating nursing satisfaction with key clinical support functions, including: nutrition, housekeeping, facilities management, patient transport, patient lift teams, security, supply management and clinical equipment maintenance staff.
